Billing Cycle vs Order Usage Reset Cycle

Understand the difference between subscription billing and order quota reset cycles, with start date rules for monthly and annual plans and overage charge details.

Your billing cycle and order usage reset cycle are separate and serve different purposes. Understanding both helps you better manage your subscription and usage.

1. Billing Cycle (Subscription Cycle)

Your billing cycle is the period that determines when you are charged for your subscription.

Key points:

  • Starts after your free trial ends

  • Determines your subscription payment dates

  • Renews automatically unless canceled

  • Independent of your order usage cycle

Billing cycle by plan:

  • Monthly plan: Renews every 30 days

  • Annual plan: Renews every 12 months

Example:

If you start on April 16, 2026 with a 14-day trial:

  • Trial ends: April 30, 2026

  • Billing starts: April 30, 2026

Monthly: April 30 → May 30 → June 30 → …
Annual: April 30, 2026 → April 30, 2027 → …

2. Order Usage Reset Cycle (Quota Cycle)

Your order usage reset cycle defines when your order quota refreshes.

Key points:

  • Determines when you receive a new order allowance

  • Based on installation date or subscription alignment

  • Runs independently from billing

  • Does not directly trigger charges

3. How Order Usage Charges Work

Your order usage itself is not charged automatically.

Charges only occur if you exceed your quota.

  • If you stay within your quota, no extra charges will apply

  • If you exceed your quota, overage charges will apply based on your plan

Plan

Overage Pricing

Starter

$20 per 100 orders

Growth

$15 per 100 orders

Plus

$10 per 100 orders

Note: If you’re concerned that your order quota may not be sufficient, you can switch to a plan with a higher usage limit to avoid extra charges. If you’d like a refund for any unused days after cancellation, please contact our support team.
